What are the hallmarks of design
excellence? Good design has the power to touch us, to lift us up, to make our
lives better, and impart profound sense of well-being – bad design can have the
opposite effect. How are new materials, social changes and environmental concerns
shaping our ideas about design excellence? Bring your ideas and your questions
for a lively exchange. Moderator: Tony Fusco, Co-Producer, AD20/21 and Boston
Design Week; Panelists: Miguel Gomez-Ibanez, President, North Bennet Street School; Allison Perry Iantosca, President, F.H. Perry Builder; Meghan Melvin, Sharf Curator of Design, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Judith Tolnick Champa, Editor-In-Chief,
Art New England.
